Fachadas vidriadas: cálculo de transmitancia térmica

Glazing is one of the dominant features modern and contemporary architecture. This envelope design may have a great impact on operational energy demand buildings. In this work, glazed façade systems available in Argentina are analyzed, with purpose determining associated thermal transmittance ranges, terms profiles’ design, type glazing size glass panes. First, by using bidimensional numerical calculation, several profile parameters studied, highlighting relevance fixing methods, to then calculate entire facade. The results indicate that value facades, mainly depends used, exceeds 24% average.
